Happy New Year!
Take a deep breath and let it out slow. Transitions can take a lot of energy and when you are in the north hemisphere there’s not a lot of light to fuel what you are doing. Everyone in the southern hemisphere let all that light help float you along and fuel what you are up to.
The pick out three words things are so much fun and sometimes you get a nice mantra out of it. Here’s the current one for me.
What do you want to happen this year? Start to plan the actions out that will help you move into what you need to do. Treat it all as an experiment and keep playing with it until you get it where you want it.
A few things I will be exploring this year are:
More ritual in my life
Working with the Norns for a year
Finding something to make a rune set out of
Healing the Witch Wound
What do you want to explore?
Piles this week are Wheel of Fortune Tarot, Goddess Tiles, and Windows into Worlds
The Moon, Hel, and Faery Ally
Where are you shutting it down and why? Be aware of what’s happening and make the choice to engage or not. No sticking your head in the sand and pretending it is not there. Because it is there and is not going away. Not ready for it, that’s okay you don’t have to engage but you do need to know it is before you. You may want to ask yourself why you don’t want to see it. What do you ignore and why? How does it feel when you allow yourself to be aware of it?
The Hermit, Hebe the Water Bearer, and Tree Allies
What needs to relax this week? Take time to be by yourself and get some alone time. If you can go find some trees or a tree to hang out for a while. They may be sleeping but trees will help you maintain so you can function and get what needs to be done. Trust yourself to know when this is needed. Do you force it when you need rest? How can taking a break help you be more productive and feel better?
The Chariot, Cerridwen, and Angel
What is being put off? It is time to create what you need or at least start it. You need to see the creation in the short and long term. What you need for those two can differ and still be tied together. People say it is like a marathon not a sprint but even within a marathon you will sprint at time, run, and walk it all gets you to the end. They are similar but differ. What are you doing for the short and long term? How can you find what is similar in things you do?
