Treatment for cancer is a fluid thing. You have the main plan and for me that’s what usually what happens. There’s not been anything that’s been too off that treatment had to pause.
That is until on day in July.
It happened to me.
The Pause!!
It was the right thing to do. But still it is disheartening to have it all not happen. Side effects were bad enough the doctor said no for that day to my usual stuff. Did I get go home, no.
Instead they hydrated me and yes I needed it. The gastric distress had been getting worse and also had me low in magnesium. Seriously unfun effects.
Two days of hydration and magnesium had me feeling better and hands and feet stopped cramping up. Bonus! The next week I was cleared to start treatment again.
Yes, I was frustrated.
There was a fit in all that.
